The Edgewater Woodvale Junior Football Club’s mission is to provide every child with the best opportunity to play football in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment so they can enjoy our great game of Australian Rules Football to the best of their ability. EWJFC will endeavour to provide the best possible support for the health, welfare and well-being of its players, officials, supporters and spectators. This will be achieved through the Club’s resources, management, activities and values.

We are committed to being a ‘club of choice’ by providing exceptional learning opportunities for our community both on and off the field. Our vision is to be the footy club where parents want their children toplay. To ensure our Junior Eagles have an awesome experience and want to continue playing our great game year after year!

The core values of fair play, integrity and mateship are at the heart of Edgewater Woodvale Junior Football Club. They are key to being a quality player and person. EWJFC are proud to uphold these values at all times.
FAIR PLAY is grounded in the principles of integrity, fairness and respect. It is an attitude, a way of thinking. It can be taught and it can be learned. Once it’s learned, it can apply to every aspect of a person’s life. That’s why fair play is so important to our club. Our players learn to respect their own abilities, and those of their competitors, and to value the effort of all participants, regardless of ability.
INTEGRITY is central to the fabric of the game and is generated through honesty and fair play, it is the core value of our footy club. This value is passed down from our Life Members who have grown this club to where it is today. Playing by the rules and honouring the umpires decisions form how we play our footy.
MATESHIP brings people together and drives the commitment of our players, parents, coaches, managers, volunteers and sponsors. Without the spirit of mateship and camaraderie we would not have any of these people to provide the footy experience our club prides itself on. We encourage all our footy players, regardless of their ability, to enjoy Australia’s great game, work together as a team, play to the best of their ability and strive to be better. We cannot run as a club without friendship, compassion, loyalty and equality. Without our mates helping us out.
