Working with Children Check — Volunteer Declaration
At Edgewater Woodvale Junior Football Club, the safety and wellbeing of our kids is our top priority. Western Australian law requires all adults who volunteer in child-related roles to either hold a current Working with Children (WWC) Check card, or be eligible for an exemption under the Working with Children (Screening) Act 2004.
This form must be completed by all EWJFC volunteers before taking on any role at the club — including coaches, team managers, first aid officers, runners, canteen helpers, committee members, and any other role that involves working with or around children.
What you’ll need:
- Your volunteer role/s and the team you’re supporting
- If you’re claiming a parent or child volunteer exemption — an understanding of the eligibility criteria listed in the form
- If you hold a WWC Check card — your card number and expiry date
If you’re unsure whether you need a WWC Check card or may qualify for an exemption, visit the WWC Check WA website or contact our club registrar.
Thank you for helping us keep our club a safe and welcoming place for every player and family. 🦅
